Dussaillant Lehmann Brut

The Domaine’s premier sparkling wine is a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in the traditional French style. Each vintage, the most elegant free-run lots with higher acidity are chosen to make up the blend. The Chardonnay base of the cuvée contributes vivacious acidity, mineral notes, and green apple and floral aromas. The Pinot Noir component adds roundness and fresh green notes. This sparkling Brut ages a minimum of 30 months on the yeast lees after the second fermentation in the bottle. This long aging on the lees contributes yeasty, toasted notes of freshly baked bread. The wine is finished with a dosage of 8–10 grams of sugar to balance the acidity.
